Haute Tibetan Boots hand stitched show stoppers
Not a single boutique in the world can get you these show-stopper brocaded boots, hand stitched, handmade with naturally tanned thick yak or sheep leather soles and warm woolen / silk-like fabric uppers.
Each pair of boots takes approximately 15 days to make, by two artisans working tirelessly for 10 hours a day.
Lost inheritance, sustained by just one family in the crevices of the mountainous terrains of the eastern Himalayas, this art form that once flourished for the royals in Bhutan, Tibetan warriors, dancers, and others, is on the edge of extinction.
